The existing website left visitors confused about Estes Nonprofit Network’s core function and value proposition. Despite serving as the central hub for nonprofit collaboration in the Estes Valley, their site made it unclear whether they provided direct services, funding, or support to other organizations.
The confusing site structure and navigation menu frustrated both nonprofit leaders seeking resources and community members trying to understand their impact.
The design felt scattered and busy, with elements that lacked cohesion and failed to reflect the professional, collaborative atmosphere they fostered in person. As part of their rebranding effort, they wanted to refresh their visual identity without relying heavily on photography, creating an additional design challenge around maintaining warmth and humanity through other visual elements.
Key challenges included:

- Scattered, busy design elements that lacked visual cohesion
- Need to refresh brand identity while avoiding heavy use of photography
- Difficulty conveying warmth and community connection without human imagery
